In 1990, Compile has released Randar 3, a great RPG on 4 disks. After a first translation in 2008, Django has improved in April 2013 the translation of the weapons and the dialogs on disk 2. At the moment, this version 2 is only available on his blog (in free download since 22 May 2013).

Pentacour comes with a maze game, where you must find in a deserted camping with only the help of a flashlight the 5 missing pages of a manuscript and do what the last page says before you meet and see the horrible creature called Slender !

Seikima II Special French

In 1987, Sony has released an action game, Seikima II Special (also known as Seigimatsu II Special Attack Devil). In April 2013, Django has made the French translation of the title screen and the shop menu. At the moment, this translation is only available on his blog. Mapper : ASCII 8.

La Valeur English Version 3

La Valeur is a great RPG published in 1990 by Kogado. After two partial translations in 2008 and 2010, Django has continued and improved his work in April 2013 to get an almost full translation, including the title screen. Besides, the intro on disk B can now be enjoyed in English and in French. At the moment, this version 3 is only available on his blog.

A 1st finished game for the 2013 edition of the great MSXdev’ contest ! Dimension Z , Retroworks and nenefreanz come with a fast action game, where a medieval defender must protect a castle from an army of hostile attackers by dropping boulders from the top of the wall. Two versions are available : Spanish and English.

Dragon Spirit Demo

Dragon Spirit is a vertical shooter, published by Namco in 1987 on arcade, then between 1988 and 1991 on different systems including CPC Amstrad; a MSX2 version was planned, but has never been released. To celebrate the 3Oth birthday of the MSX system, the Japanese coder Tiny Yarou has created a playable demo in invulnerable mode and limited to first part of stage 1 that runs in a loop.

The demo is provided in DSK and ROM versions (mapper : ASCII 16).

Roc’n Rope

Roc’n Rope is a platform game published in 1984 by Coleco and adapted from the 1983 Konami arcade game. Strangely, this game has never found an official way to the MSX system, but GDX has converted it, by basing his work on the Mission emulator, with improved support for keyboard and joysticks, fixing of sound bugs, improving of the VDP writing routine and slight redefintion of the color palette on MSX2 and higher.

The recommended mapper is Konami SCC, with ASCII 16 compatibility.
