The 2nd edition of the Passion MSX2 Contest is finished ! It ends with 2 new games received, as it is the tradition, in the last minutes ….
This year, the contest games have a common theme : the prison. The Infinite team (Edwin, Wolf and Chao5) invites us to do everything to avoid the prison : you must guide a stealen car and thwart the traps tended by the police forces ! Some items will be useful to open passages and don’t forget to fuel up in a gas station !

Indeed, it’s the mission of the jury to decide which game is the winner and I think it will not be an easy decision !
Playing the game with Reverse Emulation feature, tonight in #msxdev @ Rizon, we identified a lot of problems that make the game virtually unplayable, because traffic gets stuck in various circumstances and sometimes you can only wait to die and hope it doesn’t happen again… Because Infinite’s programmer is an operator at #msxdev, these bugs are being fixed as I write this, but it’s unfortunate that, aside from the many visual glitches, this game requires heavy cheating to be playable at all. (At least it doesn’t crash like last year’s…

Looks and sounds good. Too bad they are all bumper cars, the game is based largely on LUCK and there are many bugs and glitches.
Not wanting to be negative, but some people are calling the TNI game “unfinished” (I don’t know why) and proclaiming this game to be the most likely winner.
Just offering some perspective…
