Philips NMS-8245, NMS-8250, NMS-8255 and NMS-8280
To run these MSX2 machines in blueMSX, you
need the complete config files with all the
specific roms. Check the Resource page of the
blueMSX
website and unzip the config files in the
Machines subdirectory of the emulator.
These machine have a tape interface and one
diskdrive (NMS-8245/50) or two diskdrives (NMS-8255/80).
They come with three or four system disks :
first system disk contains MSX-DOS with a
nice interface; second system disk includes
second version of MSX Home Office; third
system disk contains a graphic tool,
Videographics (with demo mode by pressing F10);
fourth system disk comes only with the NMS-8280
computer and is actually a demo disk.
There is a French version of the NMS-8245
machine and a German version of the NMS-8280
machine. The NMS-8280 computer has
superimposing and digitizing capabilities
that are supported by blueMSX : see this page.
